Exercise your faith

exercise your Faith

Exercise your faith:

We live in a world where every now and then, we face challenges. What is critical about facing challenges is how we respond to these challenges. Our response will determine whether we will be winners or losers. To become winners over challengers, we must exercise our faith any time we are confronted with challenges. How can you know the power in your faith when you do not exercise it?

When we surmount any challenge, we become enabled to surmount bigger challenges. How can one exercise his/her faith?

Firstly, discover what God says about your challenge from His word.

Secondly, confess His word to the challenge you are facing and pray in the name of Jesus. Keep confessing His word until you feel a victory note in your spirit. If it requires that you fast, go on and fast because Jesus said that somethings will only exit or get solved by prayer and fasting.

The word of God has power in it. It takes our faith to activate the power in His word. Exercise your faith now! God bless you.

YOU WILL WIN WHEN YOU STAGGER NOT

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:19-20).

Faith is so important in our Christian walk! Faith is the live wire of the child of God. With faith, Abraham was able to receive the promise of God concerning his body and the body of Sara. In our world today, science will tell us so much about menopause in women. Science has discovered so much good things making life better every now and then. However, science has also discovered limits and impossibilities to many things on earth. For example, menopause will usually set in for women in their late 30s. Science will tell you that some cancers and diseases are incurable.

In the mist of scientific evidences, can we still believe God’s word as the answer to the problems of man? Emphatically yes. Abraham, our great great ….. grand father was able to defy the limitations of the flesh through believe and faith in God’s promise. In the absence of faith, unbelief is magnified and we stagger. Faith always comes through the study of God’s word.  When we are strong in faith, we will always get results that are beyond human comprehension. Indeed, there is power in God’s word. Amen.

YOU ARE ALWAYS A WINNER!

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place (2 Corinthians 2:14).

The child of God has the ability to always win in this life! This is the import of the above scripture. Our high priest, Jesus Christ, was always on top of issues during His walk on this earth. He always had positive results. Since we are like Him and He also said we can do much more of the things He did, we have to be confident, have faith and walk in this reality.  You need knowledge of God’s word to always be a winner.

THE PRAYER OF FAITH

ID-10091543

The Christian life is a life of faith. Faith is that which sustains us in our walk with the Father. Faith is actually a virtue of the child of God. It is by faith that we accepted Jesus Christ as our personal saviour and as a result received eternal life, that is, the God –kind of life. Romans 1:17 states that, “The just shall live by faith”. Hebrews 11:6 also states that “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”. The prayer of faith is said by the child of God who knows his/her identity in Christ. The prayer of faith works by discovering your rights and privileges in the bible. More often than not, the challenge of the Christian is a ‘word problem’, that is, lack of knowledge of the word of God.

We have several kinds of prayer and the prayer of faith is one of these kinds of prayer. This kind of prayer involves speaking God’s word about specific circumstances in order to bring about desired changes without entertaining doubts in our heart. The following scripture throws more light on the issue. “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whatsoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall ‘believe’ that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, ‘believe’ that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:22-24).

‘Believing’ as used in the above scripture is a fundamental requirement to get answers to our prayer of faith. To believe is to possess in the heart and it also means to accept that what you have prayed about ‘exists’ and therefore “act as such”. James 2 states that ‘… the devils also believe..’. The difference between the believe of the devils and the believe of the Christian is that, the believe of the Christian goes with action or works. The mountain as used in the scripture above refers to physical and spiritual obstacles and it is exciting to know that our Father has given us the power to make desired and positive changes in our environment.
