REPENTANCE IS FOR OUR OWN GOOD!

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent: because He hath appointed a day, in the which He will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained….. Acts 17:30-31

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). So if we want to be restored to our former glory, we need to repent to become children of God. All men are creations of God but children of God are those who have received Jesus as their personal saviour. We rather gain by accepting Jesus as our personal saviour! In other words, repentance is for our own good.
