We are serving an eternal God

We are serving an eternal God who cares dearly for His children. The eternal nature of God is clearly portrayed in the scriptures and in this article, we are going to briefly explain a few scriptures that talks about the eternal nature of God.

 “Before Abraham was, I AM…” (John 8:58). The natural statement to expect may read like “before Abraham was, I was…” but our Father categorically says “I AM…” He does not mince words at all. He existed before Abraham came on the scene and even before the universe was created. Therefore as His children, we must also strive to be choosy in the use of words.

“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God…” (John 1:1). There was a beginning and before this beginning was God. God actually began the beginning. Praise God!

“….I am the first and I am the last….” (Isaiah 44:6). “I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending….” (Revelation 1:8). Our Father existed before any other thing came to being. He is the most experienced person in this universe therefore the first person to be consulted for answers to the challenges of this world.

“….the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity…..”Isaiah 57:15. Being Spirit, our Father lives forever. Not only does He live forever, He inhabits or occupies forever. What a Father we serve!

“…the eternal God is our refuge…..”(Deuteronomy 33:27). Since we are serving an eternal God, He knows everything and provides refuge to His children. Refuge means protection, shelter or haven. Therefore, we can never be disadvantaged.

Being eternal means that He is not limited by time in anyway. We can be confident of trusting a God who is not limited by time. With this characteristic of God, man is assured of eternal life. This eternal life is gained by accepting Jesus as Lord and personal savior.

Continue your persistence for success

And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse. When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, if I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole (Mark 5:25-29).

Sometimes in life, one can do all the necessary things for success but still wallow in poverty and deprivation. This is the situation of some people but that does not mean that, one needs to throw in the towel. More often than not, success is a few inches away but eludes some people because they could not endure anymore and had to give up. Indeed, we are not wrestling against flesh and blood….. (Ephesians 6:12). There are forces against people who want to be successful through the genuine way. The good news is that Jesus overcame all these forces but one needs to exercise this authority in order to enjoy success.

From the scripture above, this lady had tried every means to get healed but could not succeed until she met Jesus and determined to touch the helm of His garment. She was instantly healed. The secret was her faith and persistence. Now that you are a child of God, expect improvement in your life because that is your birth right. If things are not going the way you want and you are sure that you are actually on truck, do not give up now. Continue your persistence.

You may also try to modify your implementation procedures for success because if you did the same thing over and again and it did not work, sometimes, it is an indication that you have to change some things. Whether you need to modify the implementation procedure or not also depends on intuition and intimacy with the Holy Spirit. This is so important. Continue your persistence and you will emerge victorious. Amen.

Stealing is not good for you

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3)

A child of God does not need to steal from people in order to survive. From the scripture above, every child of God has the ability to create wealth and live fulfilled lives on this earth. Indeed, stealing is not good for you.

Several reasons may exist to explain why people steal in order to survive. No matter how sound these arguments may be, it does not justify stealing.

When you steal, you are indirectly downgrading yourself. You are telling the world that you are not capable of working with your hands to create wealth for yourself. You are telling the world that you are a non entity. You are telling the world that, all what the Bible is saying about your abilities in Christ is a lie.

With this attitude of stealing, you are poisoning your spirit, soul and body. With this poisoning, you may even shorten your life on this earth.

There are no benefits in stealing what belongs to other people. The so called ‘benefits’ will not last long. The victims of theft will continue to prosper and the reverse is what will happen to you because one will always reap what he or she sows (Galatians 6:7).

Many opportunities are out there looking for prepared vessels. Develop yourself and create wealth for yourself and people around you.
