THE SOURCE OF WEALTH

It is the desire of everybody on this planet to be wealthy. Wealth brings about happiness and comfort; wealth brings about health; wealth affords us the opportunity to help others who are less privileged. Wealth brings about discovery because some discoveries are expensive and need wealth to unravel.  It is true that wealth is not the answer to all the challenges of this world but it is a fact that wealth plays an essential role as a means to an end in this world. Since it is the desire of everybody on this planet to get wealth or be wealthy, we are going to try to answer the question “what is the source of wealth?”

God Almighty is the source of  wealth because He created the whole universe and all that is in it. Recognizing this reality is the beginning of a continuous life of excellence and progress  on this earth. Some scientists have tried to disprove the existence of God but their theories are always flawed in one way or the other.  This reality is found in Deuteronomy 8:18 which reads: But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Since God is the source of wealth, He gives the power to get wealth. As the Almighty father, His desire is that His children become like Him. Jesus declared that, anybody who has seen Him has seen the Father and what He sees the Father do is what He does. So if God is the source of wealth, it implies that as His children, we are wealth carriers! As children of God, we are doers of the word. We do what the Father does because He has given us the power to do same. We have the ability to create just like our Father. It is the our responsibility to recognise God as the source of wealth and trigger a lot more processes to help us acquire wealth.
